Mr. Patrick Adzobu

Mr Patrick Adzobu is an Assistant Librarian at the University of Health and Allied Sciences library as the officer-in-charge of the Institutional Repository (UHASSPACE). He earned a Bachelor of Computer Science Education degree from the University of Cape Coast (UCC), a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Library Studies from the University of Ghana, Accra – Legon, and a Master of Science (MSc.) in Management Information Systems from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He served as an Electronic Management Information Systems (EMIS) administrator at the University College of Management Studies (UCOMS), where he managed the institution’s information and students’ academic records, and worked as a part-time lecturer teaching the Introduction to Computers course to new students. He had also served as Assistant Librarian at Regent University College of Science and Technology (RUCST). At RUCST, he managed and administered the institution’s open-source Library Information System (LIS) called KOHA, and he also served as a member of the Electronic Learning Committee, which oversaw the Learning Management Systems (LMS) using the MOODLE platform that was used by the University College. In addition, he served as an instructor at the UCC Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), teaching a Management Information Systems course. He is a member of the Ghana Library Association (GLA). His research interest areas include service quality in organisations; the use of ICT in university education; and technology adoption in information centres.
