Overview


The UHAS Library began operating in January 2013, and has maintained a consistent growth in its collections (both print and electronic). Services and products of the library include: referencing; information services; teaching of information literacy skills; lending of information resources; library orientation and guide to patrons and other related services to the UHAS community. In addition to the Main Library situated at the main campus of the University at Sokode Lokoe, there are also satellite libraries at the Southern Campus and the School of Public Health, Hohoe.

The main function of the library is to support teaching, learning and research activities. There are currently about 6000 volumes of mono-graphic literature covering all academic programmes. The Library also maintains a collection of e-resources. The Library system is run by five (5) professional librarians and a supporting staff of seventeen (17).
